The list below covers a wide range of different tools and resources that are useful for any online business. They are not all related to content marketing but can be used to make your life easier as a business owner. These are the tools and services I have used personally to grow my content strategy and creation business. They all have free packages to start with but you can easily upgrade when you are ready.

Tailwind

Pinterest is the best way to market your content for free and Tailwind helps you do it. You can use Tailwind to schedule posts to both Pinterest and Instagram. Creative Market

Creative Market is an online marketplace for community-generated design assets. The company sells graphics, WordPress themes, stock photography, and other digital goods for use by web creatives. Best of all they share 6 free design assets every Monday, so sign up and download those freebies weekly.

Lemlist

Lemlist is the first email outreach platform that allows you to automatically generate personalized images and videos. The software allows sending of unique & unforgettable cold emails in order to build warmer relationships with prospects. This is the best way to automate the cold pitching process when reaching out to potential clients. Although it's not free, you should definitely try it out with the free trial.

Quora

Quora lets users ask questions and receive answers. Content marketers can use it to discover what kind of questions their audiences are asking. Use Quora for blogging inspiration - answer Quora questions through a high-quality blog post and you’ve got yourself some content gold.

Canva

Canva enables you to create that content quickly and easily, even if you have little to no graphic design skills. Whether you use your Canva-created designs online or off, you'll be able to create a large variety of engaging content that will attract your targeted prospects.

Buffer

Buffer is a software application for the web and mobile, designed to manage accounts in social networks, by providing the means for a user to schedule posts to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin, as well as analyze their results and engage with their community.

Grammarly

Grammarly is an online grammar checking, spell checking, and plagiarism detection platform. You can add a Grammarly extension to your browser and the content you write will be checked for spelling and grammar errors as you write it.

Yoast SEO

Yoast is a free plugin for WordPress and a great way to learn SEO on the go. Install and activate Yoast on your website and you will be able to create content that gets noticed by search engines. Select your keyword and start writing. Yoast will let you know how your SEO is for each piece as well as give feedback on your writing.

This list is far from complete, there are just so many tools for you to utilize. However, I will continue to update this list regularly in the future to keep you informed of what free tools and resources I am using.
